CLINICAL DIRECTOR QUALIFICATIONS
• Master’s degree in mental health related field.

Job Description:
The Clinical Director is responsible for the supervision of the clinical staff. Clinical Director will consult with the CEO and Development team as needed. The Clinical Director maintains close communication with the clinical staff, provides any information relevant to the program’s operation and assists in developing and modifying the program. The Clinical Director monitors documentation by the clinical staff to ensure that documentation is maintained at the highest level and is responsible to provide 24-hour management of the clinical function of the facility.

CLINICAL DIRECTOR’S JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Managing client services and ensure compliance with established program standards including state and federal mandates.
• Oversee Intake process for admission into Outpatient programs.
• Provide ongoing supervision and training of clinical staff and student interns.
• Coordinate client crisis intervention including managing, de-escalation, redirection, problem solving and referring to mobile crisis when necessary.
• Participate in hiring and termination process.
• Provide orientation, education and ongoing evaluation of clinical staff.
• Participate in community outreach and marketing of program. • Maintain positive relationships with referral sources.
• Provide ongoing collaboration with various healthcare and legal systems providing a continuum of behavioral health treatment.
• Work closely with administrative to ensure a successful and quality program.

Outpatient Counselor

COUNSELORS QUALIFICATIONS
• Master’s degree in mental health related field.

Job Description:
To work with individuals, couples, families and groups to help them overcome a range of psychological and emotional issues.

COUNSELOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop treatment plans and provide counseling to new and on-going clients in individual, family or group therapy.
• Determine current problems, mental status, family and personal history, treatment recommendations and provisional diagnosis.
• Ensure proper documentation of all activities in accordance with Future Project reporting system in a timely manner.
• Provide support and assistant to clients in accordance with their Individual Care Plans.
• Create a safe, comfortable and professional work environment at all times.
• Attend weekly supervision and monthly staff meetings and training as required.
• Manage clients’ caseloads as well as maintain confidentiality of clients’ information.
• Complete all written reports before the dead-lines. Work within a team-based environment.
• Must be able to communicate and maintain order and control within a group setting of 10 or less children and adolescents for an hour to hour and a half.

Intensive In-Home Counselor

INTENSIVE IN-HOME COUNSELORS QUALIFICATIONS
• Master’s degree in mental health related field.

Job Description:
Intensive In-Home Counselors provide short term, solution focused therapy for youths and families. Improving or stabilizing the youth(s) level of functioning within the home and community in order to decrease or eliminate behaviors or conditions that may impact on healthy functioning in the home, school or community.

INTENSIVE IN-HOME COUNSELOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide in-home/community counseling (IIC) to children and adolescents who have emotional and/or behavioral needs.
• Provide services based on an individualized treatment plan to stabilize to prevent higher level of care.
• Provide behavioral interventions and behavioral management.
• Ensure complete and timely documentation of all activities according to Future Project’s reporting system.
• Therapists will use short-term evidence based practice/interventions to provide counseling to children/adolescents in accordance with their needs.
• Participate in child family team meetings as necessary.
• Schedule weekly supervision/meet with office coordinator weekly to discuss current and up-coming client visits.

BEHAVIORAL ASSISTANT

BEHAVIORAL ASSISTANT QUALIFICATIONS
• Behavioral Assistant certification (Must be completed within six (6) months of hire and renewed annually)
• Bachelor’s Degree in social work, psychology, counseling, criminal justice or related human service field preferred not required
• Minimum of one (1) year direct experience working with youth and families
• Must possess good written and verbal communication skills, demonstrate a high level of cultural competence, and be responsive to the needs of youth and families served
• Bilingual is a plus (Spanish, Portuguese)

Under the supervision of a licensed clinician, the Behavioral Assistant implements strategies to address mental and behavioral health challenges of youth. Future Project Behavioral Assistants incorporate fitness, recreation and social support related activities into their weekly in-home/in-community sessions.

• Provide weekly in-home/in-community based services focused on addressing maladaptive behavior while incorporating fitness, recreational and social support related activities.
